These are Family Friendly Community events

Main Street Spearfish - Downtown Friday Nights
These events attract local people. Young and old alike are drawn to these events that become a part of the culture of the community. Old friends reacquaint, new friends are made and networking occurs among the business entities.

We encourage and promote these events to be Family Friendly. Communities and their leaders are searching for good old-fashion activities to bring their citizens to the core of their town/city. For that is where the energy and heart of a town lies.

How Annie Creek got started and what we can do for you

In 2007, Spearfish (pop 10,517) in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, started a downtown monthly music event called First Fridays. On the first Friday of each summer month, the event was held on Main Street and drew 500 - 600 people.

During the final First Friday of the 2010 summer, an old friend approached the founder of Downtown Events saying, "... next summer we should do this EVERY WEEK instead of once a month". From this short conversation Downtown Friday Nights was born and soon after Downtown Events arrived as well.

Within three years crowds had grown from....

400 - 500 once a month.....

to 4,000 - 5,000+ EVERY WEEK!

This is what Downtown Events can help you to achieve in your community.
